Course Overview:
For USAID Missions, Bureaus, and Independent Offices, the Integrated Natural Resource Management (INRM) Activity offers technical assistance and support services as needed for a wide range of environmental and natural resource management concerns. In addition to many sectors that are frequently not connected to environmental programs but are in fact intricately connected, such as food security, global health, and governance, INRM supports analysis and programming across sectors that are traditionally categorized as "environmental," such as land use and climate change. Aiming to respond to strategic adjustments at the Agency and increase the effects of environmental programs, INRM seeks to generate constituencies for integrated programming that fulfills development and humanitarian aid goals.
The goal of the activity is to encourage adoption of the ideas and methods stated in the Agency's Environmental and Natural Resource Management (ENRM) Framework.
