    If you are asking the question, “can I get a PMP without experience?” I would guess you have heard through the grapevine there is an expectation of professional project management experience needed for the exam. In short, the answer to this question is no, you cannot sit for the PMP certification without experience.
  • 4. How do I become a project manager in Ghana?

    Have a secondary degree (High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Global Equivalent) and a minimum of five (5) years / 60 months of unique (non-overlapping) Project Management experience, including 7,500 hours of project leadership and direction, and 35 hours of Project Management Education.

  • 5. How much does it cost to maintain PMP certification?

    To maintain your certification, you need to earn 60 PDUs every three years. So, this could require an investment in other project management training courses. There is also a renewal fee with PMI of $150 if you are not a member, and $60 if you are.

  • 6. What is the PMP passing score?

    If you wish to pass the exam, I recommend aiming for a score of more than 70%, or 126 questions out of 180. The PMI also moved the test to the new exam topic outline in January 2021, which included Agile and Adoptive project management techniques.
