In short, the answer to this question is no, you cannot sit for the PMP certification without experience.
  • 4. How do I become a project manager in Ghana?

    Have a secondary degree (High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Global Equivalent) and a minimum of five (5) years / 60 months of unique (non-overlapping) Project Management experience, including 7,500 hours of project leadership and direction, and 35 hours of Project Management Education.

  • 5. How much does it cost to maintain PMP certification?

    To maintain your certification, you need to earn 60 PDUs every three years. So, this could require an investment in other project management training courses. There is also a renewal fee with PMI of $150 if you are not a member, and $60 if you are.

Can I complete PDUs while on suspension and apply them to my most recent CCR cycle?

You will be eligible to renew  your credential if you  complete the appropriate  PDUs to fulfill your CCR  during the suspension

Will the PMP® or other existing PMI® certifications be diluted by newer PMI® credentials?

No.

How can I keep track of several credentials at the same time?

You may align your  PMP® and PgMP®  certification cycles and keep  both certifications  active at the same time.

Do I need a special username or password to use CCRS?

What are the names of the application reviewers?

A panel of program managers has been appointed to serve as the application reviewers for the PgMP® credential. PMI® carefully selected members of this panel for their extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of program management. Since PMI® appoints these members, there is no formal process available to the public to serve as a volunteer in this capacity. To protect applicants against any potential review bias, PMI® will not provide candidate names, demographics, or employment information to the reviewers.

How should audit materials be sent to PMI®?

Depending on where you live, you may submit your  completed audit forms to either address below through
ordinary postal mail or express courier service. PMI® will not accept audit  materials that are faxed or emailed. To speed processing, please send all items at once  or in one envelope.

Are audit materials kept private?

Yes. Audit materials are completely secret and are not disclosed with any other party unless
compelled by legal action involving PMI®.

How can an audit candidate explain why they are being audited to their manager?

The applicant will be given basic overview of the audit’s  objective, relevance,  requirements, and  compliance by the PMI®.

The person who validated my job experience neglected to sign the back of the envelope. Is this going to be a problem?

Although it is preferable to send your experience  verification form(s) to PMI®  in signed and sealed  envelope, PMI® 
recognizes that this may not  be feasible in some  circumstances owing to  internal company rules,  customs inspections, and so on. Please write notation on the reverse of the envelope  indicating the  signature was not included.
